Change Pitch In Garageband Ipad

 

Trying to figure out how to change the tempo of the song without affecting the previously recorded tracks. I have done a lot of searching and apparently in previous versions of GB there was a box you could uncheck in the editor called 'follow pitch and tempo' but I can't find this box.


I recorded live instrument parts before setting the tempo and now I want to add software instruments but when I change the tempo, it speeds up the previously recorded parts.

Change the song tempo in GarageBand on iPhone and iPad. Like on Mac, the default tempo for a new GarageBand project is 120 BPM. So to change this on iPhone or iPad, just open your song and follow these steps. 1) Open the Song Settings. On iPhone, tap the gear icon and pick Song Settings. On iPad, tap the wrench icon on the top right. Retronyms Looperverse lets you time stretch and change the pitch of a loop quickly and accurately.
