Disney’s Pixie Hollow is No More. Blogging Disney has featured the world of Pixie Hollow on three previous occasions. In August 2011, I blogged about the Disney Fairies Magazine and the Disney Fairies Fly mobile app: Tinker Bell and Disney Fairies Magazine.

I see most of you guys are missing me….I miss you, too, but I seem to have lost some of my interest in blogging, already… *sigh*.

Well, by the title, I am doing a post about Disney’s latest app, Disney Karaoke: Frozen. (Only available in the App Store for now.)

Pixie Hollow Games On Disney Plus Streaming; New Pixie Hollow Website; Pixie Hollow Games is a 30-minute television special broadcast on November 19, 2011, on Disney Channel. Based on the Disney Fairies franchise, it was produced by DisneyToon Studios and animated by Prana Studios. May 24, 2021 Pixie Hollow is an Awesome, Massively Multiplayer Online, Role-playing, Virtual World, and Browser-based video game created and published by Disney Interactive Studios. In the game, players can select and customize more than three fairy characters to use and explore the game world.

Here is a description of the app, as said by Disney.

“Get ready to take your Frozen sing-alongs to the next level, because the Frozen Karaoke app is finally here! With Disney Karaoke: Frozen, fans can sing along to the original instrumental tracks, and even record and share their performances with friends.”

MY OPINION:

There’s NO WAY I’m going to buy this app. First of all, it’s $7.99. I don’t need explaining, do I? I thought $6.99 was the most expensive price an app can get, but $7.99?! Count me out. Disney’s ‘focusing on mobile apps’, the reason why Pixie Hollow closed, is futile. Second, I’m not that impressed. Disney has been making the same games over and over again, with just different themes. First there was a High School Musical Karaoke Wii game. (Which I have.) Now there’s this one. Not just with Karaoke games, but with other games, too. Frozen Free Fall (In App Store and Google Play) and Maleficent Free Fall (Also in Google Play and App Store) are basically, the same game with a different theme. Well, Disney, you just keep pulling the same stunt. 😛

I know this is quite a short post, but there isn’t really a lot revealed on Disney Karaoke: Frozen since it was just released recently, and nobody officially reviewed it yet. I might post something about Maleficent Free Fall in my next post, so keep a look out! 🙂
