Wind Controller #1 - If you are tired of those cheesy Akai EWI3000m preset sounds, have we got great news for you! You can now upgrade your EWI3000m with a professional quality soundbank for the Akai EWI3000m from PATCHMAN MUSIC- the leading authority in breath controlled sound design.

EWI3000m Volume 1 is the result of intense programming by a experienced wind synthesist and sound designer Matt Traum. Volume 1 for the Akai EWI3000m / EWI3000 contains 50 new breath controlled patches designed to be played with the Akai EWI3000 wind controller. (These sounds can also be used if you are controlling the EWI3000m via its MIDI IN with an external wind controller or breath controller.) These sounds require a wind controller or breath controller for proper use.

EWI3000m Volume 1 was designed with the philosophy that it should be useful to a wind instrument player. You won't find any pianos, organs, or drums in this Volume. You will find lots of highly expressive solo sounds, acoustic wind instruments, fat synth leads, and great emulative patches. This EWI3000m soundbank includes all the popular synth leads including the coveted sounds of Dave Koz, Lyle Mays, Chick Corea, The Cars, Steve Winwood, and Jean Luc Ponty. And we haven't forgotten the great low end capabilities of the EWI3000m so we've included super punchy, hard-to-find MiniMoog-style bass patches. Because of the EWI3000m's phat low end, many of the other sounds in this soundbank make great basses as well.

This Volume also includes some impressive, Brecker-style 4-voice chords using just the EWI3000m sound module! That's right, we've squeezed 4 note chords from the EWI3000m's synth itself! No external modules are needed to experience 4 note polyphony from your wind controller. For the ultimate in wind controlled polyphony, you could layer one of these 4-voice chord patches AND trigger an external synth (while utilizing the EWI3000m's chord feature) for up to a whopping 8 note polyphony!

Many hours were devoted to tweaking this soundbank to perfection. The result is an all-new professional soundbank far superior to the EWI3000m presets. Every parameter in every patch has been evaluated to make these patches as realistic and expressive as possible.
